Why no control in american tobacco ingredients?

Why are the tobacco companies allowed to put any additives they want in their products. It seems like if people want to reduce illnesses caused by tobacco, then additives should be limited to relatively safe ingredients. I know some countries Control this kind of thing, I just don't know why the US doesn't.Why no control in american tobacco ingredients?
why are drug companies allowed to manufacture and sell all kinds of goodies for all of america to get hooked to, and why are the doctors just handing these goodies (oxycontin, etc.) out to whoever asks for them (and yes they do) with no control or accountability or regulation of any kind?





';I know some countries Control this kind of thing, I just don't know why the US doesn't.';...ok, some countries require you to terminate a pregnancy if you already have one or two kids, so why don't we? some countries require that all females undergo ';female genital mutilation';, so why don't we? in some countries it's ok, and even encouraged, that men kill their wives if dinner isn't on the table by a certain time, or that families kill their daughters if they have been reped. so why not do that here in the u.s.? let's just go ahead and do all the things all the other countries are doing.Why no control in american tobacco ingredients?
Because America supports it's corporations more than they will ever support it's people.
