Do you think that it is somewhat healthy to worry over things you have no control over?

No. It only makes you anxious and less focused.Do you think that it is somewhat healthy to worry over things you have no control over?
Let's get real. Life is not fair nor does it revolve around you. I think it's very much realistic to worry about or at least acknowledge things you have no control over. I don't know what your culture, but in US culture, we are browbeaten with ideas about one's life being totally determined by one's own efforts and actions. Of course, any realistic peron can see that such ideas are delusional. For example, if you work hard at a job for 10 years and your company starts laying people off because of upper management's bad investments, that has nothing to do with your effort but you are negatively effected by factors beyong your control. I wouldn't call you unhealthy if you worried about your job security. If your parents are drug addicts, would it be unhealthy for you to worry about them overdosing or getting arrested? I think not. Anyone who is reasonably intelligent and not completely self-absorbed worries about things beyond their control.
