Does anyone else thing Bryant has no control of his team?

I don't mean in relation to how many shots he takes. I mean his team mates don't seem to want to accept him as the leader the way Jordan completely dominated his team.Does anyone else thing Bryant has no control of his team?
I agree, I mean it's sad. And it's not his fault but all the haters think it is. I mean kobe really cares for his teammates and wants to carry em on his shoulder but they would rather walk!! and players like brian cook and smush parker sometimes seem to think that they're the leaders of the team!!!Does anyone else thing Bryant has no control of his team?
I agree
It is the L.A. Lakers, not the L.A. Kobe. If Kobe wants to be the leader, he needs to act like it. In other words, take responsibility for his mistakes and don't brush it off as a fluke or blame it on another teammate.

I have said it a dozen or more times, the Lakers would be better if Kobe played more like a Point Guard, than a Shooting Guard. (His actual position is Shooting Guard).
I really think that The Lakers respected Bryant as a leader but maybe Bryant didn't find a way to motivate his teammates to play better. He already played as a scorer and then a facilitator but somehow his teammates didn't respond the way it supposed to.

Kobe is a good leader, really. Leading by example. But maybe this squad needed a different type of leadership. Let's see next season, what kind of adjustment that Kobe will make in terms of approaching or maybe reaching his teammates.
I agree, but I also think that's the exact reason why. Kobe expects to be the team leader because he has amazing basketball talent. But it's obvious that he doesn't have amazing leadership talent.

Sure, Kobe will play a game and score 50 points. And then the next game he tries to get his team involved and only shoots 16 shots. With Kobe it's an all-or-nothing atmosphere. If he feels that he's shooting well, he'll take the shot everytime. And then by passing all the time in the next game, he loses his rhythm for the game and shoots poorly.

What he needs to do is find the medium, where he can stay in a rhythm but his teammates can still feed off his good shooting.

But like I said, it's not his talent that's the problem. Take last night's game for example. Kobe was upset that Jackson, arguably the best coach in the history of basketball, put Kobe in with 9 minutes left to play. Obviously Kobe had already given up on the game and on his team. What does that say to the other players? How do you not carry that over into the next game? He wasn't just giving up on that one game, he was giving up on the series.

See ya next year, Lakers.
yes i think so too. bryant is no legend. he's just plain selfish. thinks he can carry the team alone. o'neal and bryant was the best combination. but that's broken up already sadly.
I really don't think Kobe Bryant gives a $hit about what his Fu#kin team thinks about him for all he cares they can all drop dead Am I right?
This is a joke right? Every other Laker besides Kobe gets sh*t on regularly by the media, by Kobe and Phil Jackson. Who the f*ck wants a leader who is a freakin' glory hog and a coach who enables him to be one? If Kobe takes 50 shots and scores 70 points he is a god. If Kobe has a horrible night and shoots 7-26 or whatever, then it's the rest of the Lakers fault for not making enough shots to free Kobe up. Kobe never gets flack for his defense but he is not that good on the defensive end. Instead we always hear about how bad Smush and Walton are on defense. This supporting cast gets so much flack it's ridiculous. I wouldn't respect a bullsh*t team leader like Kobe or a shady coach like Phil either.
No actually his team is accepting him as the leader, because no one else is there to choose from anyway. The reason Jordan complimented his team and gained their respect because he rises above the ';me'; factor. He sees the team as a whole above himself,he realized that he cant carry a team to victory.People resepct him because they love playing with him,he is a great leader,he makes others around him better and he recognizes your effort. In interviews he instantly praises his supporting cast that did well in the game. Now thats a real team player. In the Finals against the Jazz, the last play was made for him but he talked with Steve Kerr and arranged for him to make it.Kobe still thinks too much of himself, his bravado and sees his defender as a test of his manhood. He takes a lot of shots and in the process leaves few possessions for his teammates to get any rythm, making it a Kobe Show.Even with a healthy team, anyone of his teammates couldnt get into the flow of the game because kobe has the ball too much.If you were on his team you would probably be upset about not having the ball.Have you ever thought of any teammates or former teammates that has openly praised Kobe on public?Shaq dissed him in public, the other stars did praise him but they never knew firsthand how selfish a player kobe is.How can he take control when his teammates dont fully trust him?All his talk of trusting his teammates, thats rubbish, how can you get he get trust from them when he wont do the same?
