my friend wants to borrow my xbox 360 tomorrow, but her TV has no remote control, so switching to AV channel to view it may be a problem... is there any way to get around this? i know for my PS2 i had an aerial socket connection that went from PS2 to TV ariel socket, which appeared on channel 7 or 8. but with the scart lead this can't happen.

The TV will more likely have a few buttons on it for manualy changing the chanel or adjusting the volume, if it's got a scart socket, it'll more than likely have a button for changing to the AV chanel where the xbox will be, the button will likely have a wee pic beside it of a square with an arrow pointing in or out, thats your AV button.How to view xbox 360 through a TV with no remote control?
Get a universal remote (very inexpensive) and program it to her TV. Then you can tune her TV to the Aux channel where the 360 shows video. I'm sure she will like this, as it sounds like her TV hasn't been tuned like this for a while.
