Withdrawl is a poor birth control method.Condoms do provide some protection against pregnancy and they are the best thing we have (other than abstinence) in helping to prevent the spread of STD's. The chances of getting pregnant while on birth control is rare but it does happen. Between 5 and 8 females out of 100 will get pregnant while on the pill.
