How can I get birth control with no health insurance?

I am turning 18 and still get acne, I heard that birth control can suppress it. How can I get it if my family doesn't have health insurance? How can I get birth control with no health insurance?
Most cities and towns have a clinic where those without insurance are provided with medical help. Planned Parenthood has a services locator as well as a myriad of information on different types of birth control here:

Take a look at it. Hopefully you'll find a place nearby that you'll be able to utilize! How can I get birth control with no health insurance?
Birth Control can help with all sorts of puberty problem. Without health insurance, the easiest way for you to get it is to go to a family planning center, take a pregnancy test, and tell them you are sexually active. They will insist on giving you the birth control.

Also, keep in mind that there are two kinds of birth control that do what you are looking for. The pill, and the patch. The others don't have the right hormones.

Give it at least two months to make a difference, and wash your face several times a day, and DO NOT POP YOUR PIMPLES! After 2 - 3 months on birth control, your acne should start clearing up, but you will still need to wash your face a lot.
once your 18, you'll need to be on your own insurance... dont you have a job? get insurance through them. or go to a clinic like planned parenthood or something. you dont NEED insurance to go to the doctor, you can slowly pay off a doctor bill... and seeing a doctor to get birth control will cost less than 100 dollars. they'll prolly give you the generic perscription anyway, which is only 4 dollars at walmart pharmacy without insurance. birth control isnt that expensive... just pay for it.
well, I know that birth control isn't that expensive first of all. 2nd resource you could look into is a sexual health clinic. The one in my city charges $4/box for those who really need the pill but can't afford it. 3rd suggestion is some major companies, like alesse, offer a drug card that pays the difference in cost above the generic brands so it's the same price as generic. or 4th option would just be to go with the generic brand
Does your town have a public health clinic? A lot of times they'll give out free birth control, or at least down the prices to a little bit of nothing. Some doctors will even give out 3 to 6 month samples. Now I live in Illinois, and we have a thing called Illinois Healthy Women, and its a free program preventing pregnacny where a women can get birth control free if her insurence does not cover it. Do reserch!
Planned Parenthood might give them to you. I really don't know, because I got mine from my doctor. I'm pretty sure you can get it at planned parenthood, though.
Go to the local health department. They will be glad to give you birth control. They do it to avoid welfare babies.
