Can you get birth control with no prescription?

I was wanting to get birth control to help with my periods but I don't want to file it on my parent's insurance because they would get suspicious. Can you get birth control with no prescription?
Planned parenthood will require you undergo a pap smear before they will give you the pills...and there are some PP's that are government funded and others that are not. Depending on your income, you may be able to get a free pap and free pills from the government funded PP. You have to ask them if they are or not as they do not advertise that detail. Just go to planned parenthood. They will assign you a perscription, but Its confidential, you have your own record/bills, no one will ever know. Can you get birth control with no prescription?
well im pretty sure you have to have a pap smear ( exam of you area down there) so either way you have to a doctor even planned parenthood is going to tell you that! plan parent hood is expensive $45 to $60 a month for bc. best advice tell your parents explain that it helps regulate your periods even some help with acne. i take yaz i pay $15 a month through my moms insurance.
go to planned parenthood.. they charge you by ur income and its totally confidential. and not rx required
go to your local health department or Planned Parenthood. It is all confidential, and you can get your pills there.
