Can,t get blower motor to blow 91 olds 88 royal no climate control?

I checked fuses,relay,resistor and there is power getting to motor.


I hot wired motor and it runs.Maybe switch or module?


Is there anyway to bypass switch.looks like i have to remove the whole dash console to get to.would really appreciate the help?Can,t get blower motor to blow 91 olds 88 royal no climate control?

The fan switch comes out without pulling the dash. There are pop on panel that come off. Then you take out the screen to remove the union.


As to by passing it. you did that when you hot wired it. The only thing you need to add is tog-ger switch and locate it. Before you do that check the blow motor relay. It most likely burn up. It on the side of the heat box. It control the speed of the fan. It let the motor run on hi all the time. Until it burn out totally. Go or to the library and look up heater and their controls for your car. Most part houses carry these parts or can get them with in a day or two.
i have a 88 oldsmobile and you have a relay, i think on the firewall and it,s probably bad or you blown a fuse.
check the underneath the steering wheel there is a switch that will turn it on
hook it up to the battery with a toggle switch when it gets a lil warm turn it on with the toggle switch.

If power is getting to the plug at the motor and the motor does not run you have a bad ground.The plug ground pin may not be making contact at the motor plug ground pin.If the motor bearings are dry and the armature is hard to turn it will not run on lower speeds and maybe even at top speeds.You may need to replace the blower motor.
