I mean if the Middle East is unstable, judging from history, the price of crude oil goes up! So instead of the Bush Administration going after the ones responsible for 9/11, they chose to go after the one country that would drive the price of oil through the roof. By threatening the supply, the price goes up! Simple Economics!Isn't it laughable to say that Republican George W. Bush has no control over the price of Oil?
Why would Bush want to hurt the economy, and hurt his own reputation as well as the ability for another Republican to be elected?

It would be far more realistic to lay the accountability with the CEO's of the Seven Sisters, which is the major oil processors and distributors. The price of crude oil does not actually have much of anything to do with what it costs you at the pump, and only an ignoramus would think so. Common sense would tell you so, if you had not been so thoroughly brainwashed by the media, whose primary goal was the assassination of a good man's character for political gain.


You can go on under that black hood of ignorance, if you like, but it will make you in no way better suited to surviving the coming trials, and there will be plenty. You'd do better to open your mind, do a little research outside the media, and get a real clue about how the world works. Letting someone else do your thinking for you is the same thing as slipping uncomplaining into the shackles of slavery. Not very logical the gas prices were high and stayed high at the best time hurt our economy and get Obama elected, as soon as Obama is elected the prices fall way down. Somebody is controlling prices but not Bush.
