How can someone be anti-abortion and for using only abstinence only education...no birth control discussions?

Since abstinence only programs are not slowing down teenage pregnancies, and you are against abortions, it seems logical that birth control must be part of the discussion. How can someone be anti-abortion and for using only abstinence only education...no birth control discussions?
good point, it's like they want the best of both worlds. You can only realistically choose one, so why not birth control and condoms? How can someone be anti-abortion and for using only abstinence only education...no birth control discussions?
yes i totally have to agree with you i wrote a article in my high school paper about it. It was actuallly sent to the school board but nothing happened as stupid as it sounds i think they should provide condoms in schools because we know they are going to have sex and instead of ignoring it make ways to proctect them available
Most of those who are anti-choice, while they will not always admit it, are so based on religious belief. That belief includes the concept that any sexual activity not for the express purpose of reproduction is wrong. Thus, if they can stop abortion, they will be able to cut down on sexual activity, as people will be afraid to take the chance of conceiving. They also feel that teaching about birth control will encourage sexual activity. The truth is, it isn't about abortion or even controlling women. It's about sex. Ask a ';pro-lifer'; what they think about pornography if you don't believe me.
believe it or not...there are actually people with 2 digit IQs out there
