Why blame someone for what they have no control over?

Why do people blame other people for stuff that really has nothing to do with them? I had this girl tell me I was the reason she had a panic attack. How? did i give her the anxiety disorder? Do i know what triggers it? Am i a mind reader %26amp; should've known what would trigger it? No. People blame others for things that are stupid when you think about it. Do you ever get blamed for dumb stuff like that too? Why do people do this? Why blame someone for what they have no control over?
A lot of people with these disorders dont know they have them. I cant tell you much for what you have typed, what exactly happened? Why blame someone for what they have no control over?
People blame anyone and anything blamable when they are angry. Once you get angry it's harder to be rational.

Personally I don't associate with people prone to outbursts, but I've seen someone blame a cat because he lost a girlfriend (she wasn't allergic or anything)

That's how I ended up owning a cat...
you don't have to be a mind reader to cause or trigger another persons panic attack :: police kill people with tazers: sometimes it happens because the person has a pre-existing condition :: that doesn't mean the cop %26amp; tazer didn't play a role in that death
Some people can never accept that they are the ones who are responsible for their own actions.

They do like it that they have to make choices and then live with the choice they make themselves.

Its easy so they blame others.
Eh, you gotta blame someone, you were probably just the closest person around. You are trying to apply rational thought to ';panic.'; It just doesn't work that way.
You are going to be a wise girl indeed if you can turn that inward and apply it to your own life. No one has ever made you angry, upset, mad, or caused you a panic attack. People talk that way because they are quite ignorant of things they can and can not control. They talk that way because parents talk to children that way, ';You made me mad.'; As if there is a little button you can push and every time you do mommy automatically gets mad because she has not choice at all in the matter. In this world, you have control over one thing and one thing only, your own mind. To a lesser degree you may control your own body, to a lesser degree than that you may control objects in the world and if you treat another person as an object you may demonstrate some control over their physical body with threats, bondage, imprisonment and the like; however, that aside you can not control another person's body. The thing that you have the very least control over is the mind and opinions of another. When you choose to get angry, upset, overly emotional, or have a panic attack is always a choice, the place is a choice, the timing is a choice and the degree is a choice. Pretending it is not and then convincing yourself of that pretense is a pathology.
