I constantly worry about everything and it is driving me nuts. I am addicted to worry. I will worry if I don't have anything to worry about. Whenever I start to feel happy and am not worry about anything, I hear this voice inside of me saying ';What are you so happy about? Life is not perfect enough for you to stop worrying.'; Does anyone else beside me feel this way?Do u constantly obsess over things you have absolutely no control over?
Sometimes. I try to ignore it.
It may help to see a therapist. You will have someone to confide in about your fears without feeling judged.Do u constantly obsess over things you have absolutely no control over?
I read a quote by a 16th century Baptist preacher that said ';I would rather be deceived a 1000 times than live a life of suspicion';. 95% of the things you worry about never come to pass and the 5% of the other stuff you have no control over. Live life and be happy and have a talk with yourself and tell yourself to leave it alone and get on with life. And if someone tells you not to talk to yourself, tell them it's the only place I can find intelligent conversation.
I am a obsessive worrier too and don't sleep that great - it's a bit of a curse!
The best thing I have found is meditation CD's,
either before you go to sleep or just take an hour out during the day...
you feel very relaxed and on top of the world and don't think about the little things that niggle at you.
Also - Every time you have a worry thought, - replace with a gratitude thought, ie think of something or someone that you are grateful or thankful for that's in your life... think about your past acheivements.... it shifts our thinking around to positive.
Yes. I worry about everything. My biggest worry is that I am going to die soon. No reason, just feel that way, and it is making life miserable for my family because I am constantly obsessing over things like this.....
Well, I usually worry about something out of my control 24/7, like weather my hyper-active puppy will EVER calm down, and actually go to sleep, or something stupid like the end of the world...
ABout stupid stuff, unreal stuff, stuff that is crazy to worry about-what if this happens, what if that happens, what ifs.... Couple that way depression and it can be very negative....
we all do. you just ahve to focus on your health, happiness and your goals in life. think of the people and things that make you feel good. like me i like help with motivation and support. im hear for ya
yes Im the exact same way. just try and vent and you will probably feel better. at least for a little while.
But i definately know wat you are going through.
Everyone does. its the things we have no control over that are the real problems cause we cant solve them lol. but if your actully hearing voices i would be worried lol :)
I suffer OCD, %26amp; it's disabling because of my obsessions. I did poorly in school because of my unwanted thoughts.
