Is there a scientific term for this? What is it called? What is it called when you sleep walk, and you know what you are doing consciously, but you have no control?
i think that is somnambulism
people in almost all culture has a generally patterned way of life or a cyclic routine, like waking up, eating breakfast, going to work/school, then at the end of the day going home and sleeping, and this is repeated over and over again the following days after.
this manifest by our brain acting autonomously and sometimes acting these routines without our control
having control is different from being conscious
for example, you can be drugged and rendered weak and unable to move, but you can see/know what's going on, typical of some surgical processesWhat is it called when you sleep walk, and you know what you are doing consciously, but you have no control?
im not sure but i have heard of lucid dreams which is similar you are aware of what you are doing in a dream but can control what happens, which is so cool if you can do it i hear... but im not sure, next time you go to the doctor you could probbly ask and see what they have to say
This question contradicts itself. If are consciously aware of what you are doing, then this is not sleepwalking. If you are sleeping, then you do not consciously know what you are doing.
somnambulism
