Quite low, but it can take more than a week to start working, so look into that and don't ditch the condoms until you're sure.

i have....i had misssed a pill and i thought it wouldnt be anything...and i was still takign the pill for 4 months and had no idea I was pregnant and had a misscarrriage. =( I
If you've only been on it for a week you are NOT fine without condoms, it could take 1-2 months. Obviously he is going to say that to get some lol. But your chances of getting pregnant while on the pill are not very high unless you take one reeally late/ miss one, and still then your chances are low but it can happen so be careful.
if its only been a week then your not fine it take 2-3 months for it to work. and I'm cousin had one baby with the pill and my other cousin had 2 babies with the shot...I mean it works for the most part just everyone's body acts differently to birth control methods.
