Yea, check the vacuum lines and linkages(cruise cable is separate from throttle cable) He probably didn't do anything to the transmission to cause this because the cruise is operated by the power train controller via the speed sensor. If the speedometer is working, then it's not because of the transmission.Recent transmission work to plymouth grand voyager van now i have no cruise control?
You didn't mention the year, but in general it may be simple like the vacuum hose is not connected to the cruise control servo, the cable from the servo to the throttle body is not connected, or the servo is not plugged in. Good luck.
check around for a broken vacuum line. thats what happened to my 00 caravan 3.8 when i replaced the pcv valve i accidently somehow hit the line and it split the line i noticed it right away tho but i still tryed cruise just to test and see and my cruise wouldent work
i know its not what you want to hear, for some reason im sure you cant get back to the mechanic that did the work, but i would definitely tell him and ask him 2 fix it!!!
