Has our invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan set into motion a chain of events that we have no control over?

Iran is now a bigger problem than before with Russia and China offering support. Turkey is having problems with the Kurds and are putting us in the middle of a fight between two allies and our ally in Pakistan, Musharraf, is in danger of losing control to fundamentalists who support Osama and Al Qaeda.Has our invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan set into motion a chain of events that we have no control over?

Oh, absolutely YES!!





I think that we are much closer to a very devastating war--that will involve non-military US citizens--than we have been for the past 40 years. We have created more enemies, and reawakened past enemies. The ';war'; in Iraq was ill-conceived at best, and a plan for personal gain at worst!





It was very, very stupid for someone who supposedly had ';experience'; and ';intelligence'; (from the Intelligence Community, and, ostensibly, from his education...LOL) to invade Iraq, and then to stay there. (But then who else would ';protect'; the Blackwater-types????)





You don't disarm a bomb by jumping on it with both feet! All you do is lose your legs. And America has nary a leg to stand on as it is!
Yes, but with Iraq oil off the market, profits are up. Besides, if WW3 starts, Jesus will come back. Right?





Meanwhile Bush let bin Laden just waltz out of Tora Bora. Almost as tho he didn't care about 3K Americans getting killed on 9/11.

The only thing we have affected was by invading Iraq we have to deal with the Kurdish-Turkish situation. 9/11 proved the Islamic terrorists want to kill usd anyway and China and Russia have been providing weapons to Iran for years.
Since we're over there, we might as well shoot everybody.
